Freelance Web Designer

Student/Graduate Applicants Welcome

 

We’re seeking an enthusiastic student/graduate Freelance Web Designer who will work across Go Auction's client projects and other internal tasks. The role will include front-end build-out and design using our custom CMS and with minimal input from clients.
 
The successful candidate will have experience with web design principles and best practices, knowledge of HTML (ideally), basic CSS (preferred), and possess sound graphic design and layout skills. It would be highly beneficial if you have knowledge of the art auction and antique sector.
 
You will thrive working independently and also enjoy working as part of a team. Whilst it’s not necessary that you are able to code, you should have an understanding of responsive design and how designs will look on different devices.
 
What we’re looking for:
  • Design experience: University/graduate
  • A self-motivated and creative mindset
  • Proficiency with various design applications
  • An excellent, current online portfolio
  • Great concept skills with a keen eye for detail and layout
  • Excellent English language skills (fluent)
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a flexible and agile approach to priorities
  • Able to adapt to a variety of style guides and client preferences
  • Thrive on working in a fun and fast-moving remote environment
  • Eager to learn new skills and adapt to new approaches
  • Must have the right to work in the UK prior to employment commencing 

Location: Remote or working from our Nantwich, Cheshire office.
